# About me
- I’m a designer.
- I’m a gamer.
- I’m a researcher at DigiMedia (Digital Media and Interaction Research Centre)
- I’m a professor at the Department of Communication and Art at the University of Aveiro.
- My work, in the scope of Art, Design, Interaction and Experience, develops in multidisciplinary contexts, focusing on the exploration of poietic and aesthetic processes of games and computer systems. My interests lie in their study as tools for creative thinking and innovation, and critical work for affective experiences and intervention.
- Previously, I pursued post-doctoral research at INESC TEC (2018) and at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (2020) in the scope of games and digital media. I lectured at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto – where I co-established a postgraduate specialisation course in Interaction Design, Web and Games (2018). I also lectured at the Faculty of Communication, Architecture, Arts and Information Technologies of the Lusófona University of Porto, and at the School of Arts of Porto at the Portuguese Catholic University.
- I have a PhD in Art and Design (2016) about interaction, experience and game design in video games, a MA in Image Design (2008), and a BA in Communication Design (2006).
- My CV at Ciência Vitae (updating).
- And my Google Scholar, Research Gate, and Academia pages.
